It's been another action-packed week, both in and out of the classroom!
We have been busy creating our UFO recounts, which are now ready to edit and publish. In maths, we have been looking at problem solving, revising long division and multiplication, along with factors, multiples and prime numbers!
We were missing one key ingredient for our science experiment about shadows... the Sun!! We will try it again next week!
Some of Class 4 also went to show off their footballing skills at the Cluster event at Churchill Academy. All put in a lot of effort and showed great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout. It was also great to see some, who wouldn't normally play football, put their name down! Well done to all!
On Thursday, we were treated to a whole school trip to the Playhouse to watch Awful Auntie! The children were really well behaved and loved the performance, from the funny jokes to the incredible set design. To top it off, they even had an ice cream at the interval!
Next week promises to be another busy week with our Apple Day on Tuesday and Harvest on Wednesday.
Please remember that homework is sent out on Wednesdays and due in on Tuesdays. Please make sure you read to a parent 5 times a week and to get your Reading Record signed.
Have a great weekend.
Keep Right On!
