History: The history of the train, flight, great women who changed the world - Amelia Earhart, the history of the charabanc and the history of the car.
Religious Education: Judaism – How important is it for Jewish people to do what God asks them to do?
Art: Painting, mosaic making, collage, jewellery making, junk modelling and looking at the life and work of Henri Matisse.
Music: Identifying instruments, composing and performing using symbols and learning Transport songs.
Personal, Social, and Health Education: Jigsaw Scheme – ‘Dreams and Goals’.
Physical Education: Multi-skills and floor work in gymnastics.
Design and Technology: Investigating and exploring hot air balloons and designing and making a paper mache hot air balloon.
Computing: Designing a vehicle and logo.
Please could your child bring in toy vehicles to share and talk about?
If you have any old toy vehicles for the children to enjoy looking at and comparing with their new toy vehicles, I would be very grateful if you could bring them into the classroom.
